Vale TS80 Ground Driven Drop Spreader

The Vale TS80 is a high quality 400kg capacity trailed drop spreader which can take both wet and dry salt; It is designed for use with compact tractors and to be within the towing and drawbar tongue capacities of most ATVs, ideally suited for application of rock salt to paths and walkways. As an option the TS80 can be fitted with a three point linkage which can allow the TS80 to be lifted on the rear link arms of the tractor for increase manoeuvrability.

POZI - FEED TS500

The Pozi-Feed TS500 trailed spreader is built specifically for compact tractors. It offers winter maintenance professionals, an adaptable tool that can be used to salt town centres, car parks, footpaths and pedestrian areas alike. Its adaptability to cope with wet and dry material whilst still maintaining a smooth salt flow even at low rates means it makes best use of its large capacity 0.5m³ the largest in its class! Manufactured to a high quality finish and fitted with stainless steel fasteners make the TS500 a hard working machine. As the hydraulic pump is driven from the tractor PTO, a smooth accurate spread pattern can be maintained unlike some ground driven spreaders, which can leave untreated ground if a high forward speed isn’t maintained.

POZI - FEED TS500HS

The Pozi-Feed TS500HS trailed spreader is built specifically for use with suitable towing vehicles. It offers winter maintenance professionals, an adaptable tool that can be used to salt town centres and car parks. Its adaptability to cope with wet and dry material whilst still maintaining a smooth salt flow even at low rates means it makes best use of its 0.5m³ capacity hopper. Manufactured to a high quality finish and fitted with stainless steel fasteners make the TS500HS a hard working machine. As the hydraulic pump is driven from an onboard 6.5hp honda engine, a smooth accurate spread pattern can be maintained unlike some ground driven spreaders, which can leave untreated ground if a high forward speed isn’t maintained.

POZI - FEED TS1200

The Pozi-Feed TS1200 trailed spreader is built specifically for use with suitable towing vehicles. Its twin axle chassis is fitted with automatic brakes and axle suspension and therefore it offers winter maintenance professionals a high travel speed between jobs. It is designed for salting restricted areas where wagon based spreaders aren’t feasible such as car parks and town centres. Its adaptability to cope with wet and dry material whilst still maintaining a smooth salt flow even at low rates means it makes best use of its large capacity 1.2m³ .

The Pozi-Feed 1200 is simple to use, simply hitch onto the towing ball or pin of the vehicle, plug in the standard 7-pin lighting socket, as used with any road going trailer and away you go! When you have reached your destination simply start the Honda engine and use your fog light switch inside your vehicle to switch a hydraulic valve fitted to the TS1200 on and off, this starts and stops the spreading action! A separate switch is positioned on the lighting board at the back of the spreader for the fog light. The hydraulic pump is driven from a 9hp key start Honda donkey engine; this provides ample power to drive the pozi-feed twin augers even with wet material.

The Pozi-Feed TS1200 has features that make this trailed salt spreader stand out from its competitors - Its braked and suspended twin axles mean it can travel at a high road going speed between sites and therefore allow shorter shift times, the large 1.2m³ capacity allows for more sites to be treated on one fill and therefore less fills on the shift. Its 6 metre spread width allows it the treat sites quickly and effectively. Its shot blasted zinc rich prime and high quality polyester powder finish gives it durability in harsh environments, and the Pozi-Feed augers feed the salt accurately applying the salt precisely and therefore saving money on over applied salt and time with un-required fill ups.

POZI - FEED TS1200 DC – Distribution Centre Model

Following a thorough trial and assessment by one of the largest retailers in the UK, they have now specified the Vale TS1200DC at their distribution centres. The TS1200DC is designed around the basic TS1200, with some subtle changes making it more specific for Distribution Centre work. The TS1200 DC is designed to be used with Road Sweepers and Shunter wagons.

Changes include:-

• High speed spreading disc which spreads salt up to 15 metres - dependent on Salt type used
• Diesel Engine since petrol isn’t preferred
• 24volt lights and Hydraulic control valve to be compatible with 24volt Shunter wagon electrical system

POZI - FEED TS5000

The Pozi-Feed TS5000 is trailed spreader built specifically for use with Agricultural Tractors. It offers winter maintenance professionals a high quality, heavy duty and cost effective alternative to traditional HGV type systems. Utilising the proven Pozi-Feed auger system it can cope with wet and dry material whilst still maintaining a smooth even salt flow.
 
The TS5000 uses the hydraulic power from the tractor spool valves, simple - no nonsense basic controls include a manually operated spread width control valve and application rate valve, the spreading action is activated when the tractor spool is engaged in the tractor cab - other control options can be specified. Belts and braces commerical axles are fitted with high speed s-cam brakes, high speed super single tyres and leaf spring suspension which increase safety when used in conjunction with high speed tractors.

POZI - FEED TRACTOR MOUNTED GRITTERS

The Pozi-Feed MS Tractor mounted gritter range is a range of spreaders designed for use with small compact tractors through to large agricultural tractors, the range consists of the smallest MS250 which can take 300kgs of Salt through to the MS1500 which can take 2000kg of salt. Because the spreaders are mounted on a tractor 3 point linkage this allows extra manoeuvrability in tight and restricted areas such as footways and narrow lanes on estate roads. All the spreaders incorporate Vale’s unique pozi-feed auger system which means they have the ability to cope with wet and dry material whilst still maintaining a smooth salt flow even at low rates which makes best use of the capacity.
