PKL SPRAYING SYSTEM

 

From its launch in the year 2000, the PKL Spraying System quickly became the number one spraying system used by Local Authorities for their weed control contracts. With over 200 units sold in the first four years its success is based around sound basic engineering, its compliance with the British standard for spraying equipment (BSEN907), its reliability and ease of maintenance and the important safety features which make the PKL spraying system one of the only spraying systems suitable for kerb spraying operations.

SP2000

 

The SP2000, is a purpose built Self Propelled spraying machine developed purely for the Local Authority weed control market.

 

The SP2000 was developed at the request of customers who wanted a machine with an increased spraying capacity and improvements in drift control and safety but did not want to lose benefits that they have found in the quad bike based PKL spraying system – ease of use, manoeuvrability, and compact size.

 

Although the SP2000 is based on a basic rolling chassis of an ATV, the chassis is used purely as a donor as it has major modifications to the suspension and drive. It cannot be classified as an ATV or quad bike.

 

The SP2000 offers a Local Authority or Contractor a machine with increased safety. It is fitted with a certificated roll bar and lap belt as well as 21st century nozzle technology and a shrouded boom to help reduce operator exposure.
